Remembrance Day at Flinders University

On Friday 11 November, the flags on the Registry Concourse will be flown at half-mast in honour of Remembrance Day, to remember the sacrifice of all those who have died for Australia. The ABC’s national Remembrance Day coverage will be shown on the SuperScreen in the Plaza from 10.45am.

On the 11th hour on the 11th day of the 11th month, a minute’s silence is observed and dedicated to those soldiers who died fighting to protect the nation. All members of the Flinders University community are encouraged to observe a minute’s silence at 11am.
