How to make your science research famous

FameLab 2023 – the world’s largest public-facing science communication competition and training program for early career researchers – is now taking applications from keen participants.

Contestants in this competition are given three minutes to present their research in an original, engaging way, while following two essential FameLab rules – do not use jargon and do not use PowerPoint presentations. The researchers are judged on the quality of their content, clarity and charisma.

FameLab provides an ideal platform for early career researchers to explain their work to an international audience, outlining the problems they try to solve, the details of their research, and expressing the passion they bring to their work.

Applications for FameLab 2023 close on 15 April. For more information about how to apply, please visit the website: https://support.fwam.com.au/famelab
