To mark R U OK? Day on Thursday 14 September, Flinders will be hosting a series of events to highlight the importance of checking in with yourself and those around you, and how asking a simple question can change a life.
The Wellbeing and Campus Activation initiative are hosting a morning tea to provide an opportunity for the Flinders community to come together and hear from guest speakers who will be sharing how they make checking in with themselves and those around them a priority.
Hosted by Professor Raj Shekhawat, Dean (Research) College of Education, Psychology and Social Work, hear from Emilea Mysko, Flinders alumni and former Australian navy medic and Dr Tom Cochrane, Senior Lecturer in the College of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences, as they discuss what they do to ensure that checking in with themselves and those around them is a part of their daily routine.
