Research that reaches remote communities

All Flinders researchers with an interesting rural research story are encouraged to present them at the second annual Flinders Rural & Remote Research Symposium on Wednesday 29 May.

The Symposium Working Group is calling for submissions of abstracts from researchers across Flinders who have a rural aspect to their research.

Submissions must meet the following criteria:

  • Past, current or planned research across any discipline, from any College.
  • The focus for presentations is on explaining the ‘how’ rather than the ‘what’ of research.
  • Presentations should respond to the question “What does it take to research in and with communities? What is important and necessary?’

The cut-off date for abstract submissions is Tuesday 30 April. For more information about submissions and the Symposium, click here.
