Student academic integrity issues are now being lodged and managed in a new module within ServiceOne, providing clear workflows, tighter access controls and enhanced reporting.
To report any new allegations, an ‘Academic Integrity Allegation Form’ needs to be submitted in ServiceOne. This form replaces the previous Form A.
Upon receiving a new allegation, the relevant Topic Coordinator will be informed via email. They will then assess the details provided in the ServiceOne case to determine if there is enough evidence to proceed.
Please note that a register check will be automatically completed by the Student Policy and Integrity Services Team and will be sent to the Topic Coordinator.
If the allegation is found to be a misunderstanding, the Topic Coordinator will now need to submit a ‘Report an Academic Integrity Issue’ form in ServiceOne to capture this outcome. This form replaces the previous Form B.
If the investigation outcome finds that the Academic Integrity breach is either Academic Misconduct or Serious Academic Misconduct, the Topic Coordinator will need to lodge the ‘Report an Academic Integrity Issue’ form in ServiceOne, and the form will be automatically referred to an Academic Integrity Officer.
Once a determination has been made and communicated to the student, the case record will be updated and completed by the Academic Integrity Officer, to reflect the applicable outcome.
Please be aware that communication with the student will still occur outside of ServiceOne, as it has in the past.
