Flinders University owns and manages a large and complex portfolio of physical assets, including numerous high value and critical assets. The effective and efficient management of this asset base requires a coordinated and sustained effort across all organisational units.
This new Physical Asset Management Policy sets out the University’s commitment to the strategic management and operation of its physical assets to ensure that campuses, facilities and equipment are safe, fit for purpose, efficiently utilised, sustainable, and supportive of the University’s business objectives. It establishes the governance framework, ownership responsibilities, controls, and management tools necessary to implement a whole of life approach to physical asset management.
The new policy is available now in the Flinders Policy Library under Facilities and information management or see Recently approved policies.
