As part of Flinders’ commitment to gender and age equity in STEMM across Australia, the University will participate in a SAGE pilot program that has been expanded to include 32 institutions.
The pilot process will take a total of 31 months, including an introductory period of approximately four months, where institutions will be required to form their Self-Assessment Teams and begin preparations for the pilot process, 24 months of data collection and analysis culminating in an application for the Athena SWAN Bronze institutional award, and 3 months for peer-review assessment of applications, culminating in award decisions being announced.
Flinders will begin the pilot next month.
