The Voice IT Quality Survey Award

Intended audience: IDS staff

In late 2018, Flinders University participated in The Voice IT Quality Survey. IDS has done extremely well in improving it’s position in the rankings, jumping 7 points from 2017. This rapid rate of improvement has resulted in us winning an award for highest year on year improvement across all Australian and New Zealand Universities.

The results place Flinders University in fifth place, only four points away from the leader and five points clear of the next ranked university. This is a significant move ahead, jumping three places above the 2017 results, and a significant improvement from our 2015 results.

After further analysis of these results, we can see that we our customers are very pleased in the following areas:

  • Remote Assistance IT Support Service
  • Onsite Desktop Support
  • AV Services

Some areas of improvement that have been identified by the IT Service Quality Survey include:

  • IT Self-help
  • Ongoing or complex problems
  • BYOD Support

This year we were able to report on the IT satisfaction of each Colleges and will be working closely with them to tailor and improve service levels.
