Flinders University named #1 in 2019 University IT Service Quality Benchmark (ITSQB) report

Source, University IT Service Quality Benchmark Report 2019

On behalf of all our service management teams in Information and Digital Services, I would like to thank Flinders staff for participation in the 2019 Information Technology Service Quality Benchmark (ITSQB) survey. Flinders University was one of many universities across Australia and New Zealand to participate, enabling us to benchmark our service standards across the Higher Education sector. We’re extremely pleased to have received over 1100 responses, almost as many responses from 2018.

I am incredibly proud to announce that the results place Flinders University in first place with 88 points in the benchmark score, five points clear of the next ranking University.

That is a significant move, as we moved a further four places from the 2018 results (seven places since 2017 results). In recognition, Flinders has been awarded two awards, for having achieved the highest benchmark score (indeed the highest on record), as well as demonstrating the most year-on-year improvement (for the second time running). Our first place result is a great outcome and indicates that we are continuing to move in the right direction towards improved quality of services.

Our teams are now analysing your feedback and will be developing initiatives and actions for 2020 to continue improving our services and provide you with a better customer experience from IDS services.

I am also happy to announce the lucky winner of the Dell laptop accessory pack. Amy Jones from college Services within the College of Business, Government and Law. Congratulations to the Amy and thank you to everyone who participated!
