MetaLib, a suite of tools for database discovery and searching across multiple databases, is now live. It is linked from the front page of the Flinders Library website as “Databases”.
Go ahead and try it out.

Metalib offers several options to find citations and articles:

• Search the A-Z or subject listings for a database; click on its title and search in the traditional way (or via the database “native interface”)
• Search a single database via a simplified interface (look for and click the magnifying glass
• QuickSearch a collection of pre-selected databases (again using a simplified Metalib interface)
• Login and set up “My Space” where you can manage your own database sets and your ejournal favourites
