Limestone Coast’s Annual Career Info event inspires future doctors

 

The Limestone Coast Regional Training Hub hosted its annual Career Pathways Information evening on Wednesday 17 May, at The Barn in Mount Gambier.

The event attracted 55 attendees and featured esteemed local representatives from various specialty colleges. These experts provided comprehensive insights into training pathways and application requirements for medical students and pre-vocational doctors.

The presenters skillfully guided the attendees through the critical factors to consider when selecting a specialist field, sharing their personal journeys and highlighting their passion for their chosen disciplines. The speeches delivered were both thought-provoking and informative, eliciting plenty of laughter and creating an engaging atmosphere.

To further enhance the experience, the event featured a Goodies Table where attendees could access intriguing information and receive gifts from the participating colleges. This added element contributed to the overall success of the evening, which received an overwhelming amount of positive feedback.
