Get to know your College: Kiara Mulloy

Kiara is a College Support Officer in the CMPH Operations Team, supporting Professor Karen Lower and the education portfolio. After recently returning from maternity leave, she rejoined us following a family adventure through South Australia, Western Australia, and the Northern Territory in a cosy caravan. In her spare time, she enjoys beach outings with her 18-month-old daughter, two huskies, and is always planning her next travel adventure.

What is your role and what does your work focus on?

I currently work as a College Support Officer within the CMPH Operations Team. My role supports Professor Karen Lower (Dean, Education) and the wider education portfolio within the College.

Where did you work before joining CMPH / Flinders?

I have been with Flinders for three years, however, have recently returned from maternity leave where my family and I were fortunate to spend the first half of this year travelling South Australia, Western Australia and the Northern Territory in our (very small) caravan.

How do you like to relax or spend your spare time?

I enjoy spending time with my 18-month-old daughter and our two huskies, normally at the beach or a local playground with our family and friends. My husband and I also love travelling (if it wasn’t obvious) so do our best to travel whenever we can. We are off on our first international holiday as a family in a months-time, so I welcome any tips to my inbox on travelling with a toddler 😝
