We are very pleased and excited to announce a new partnership with Sprout, located on Sir Donald Bradman Drive, Hilton. Directed by Themis Chryssidis (APD) and Callum Hann (Celebrity Cook and Author), the new premises opened late 2014. Read more about the how Flinders and Sprout will work together.
The agreement was formalised in February 2015 and is an opportunity to deliver on a range of Flinders strategic objectives including valuing quality in teaching, enhancing educational opportunities, improving our capacity to deliver and building supportive communities.
Sprout will provide access to their state of the art cooking school for our student training, host our students on observational and community nutrition placements and work closely with Flinders academic staff on research and evaluation activities.
Flinders will also utilise the exceptional Sprout space and expertise to deliver events, the next of which is confirmed to be a placement educator and new graduate welcome on the evening of December 17, 2015. So, if you are a 2015 placement educator then save this date – it is sure to be an event not to be missed! News on other 2015 events will be communicated via the Appetiser as they are confirmed.
