Community partners and Nutrition and Dietetics a recipe for success

Flinders University Nutrition and Dietetics hosted a wonderful night of cooking, celebrating and networking with our existing and potential community partners on November 23rd. It has been an exciting time for Nutrition and Dietetics this year with the appointment of Heidi Jak into the Community Nutrition Engagement Officer position dedicated to community engagement which has made extending our community partnerships possible.

At the partners event we heard from existing partners City of Onkaparinga and Uniting Care Wesley – Community Foodies about the benefits their organisations had experienced through partnership with our staff on community nutrition projects this year. Kaye Mehta

spoke beautifully about the evolution of Flinders University Nutrition and Dietetics community nutrition partnerships and our vision for the partnerships in the future. It was a fantastic night enjoyed by all.
