Flinders is gearing up to celebrate its 50th Anniversary in 2016! In the lead-up to the official 50th Anniversary celebrations, a schedule of events and activities will be held in conjunction with the 2016 O’Week program, including an exciting food and culture showcase led by Nutrition & Dietetics.
The official 50th Anniversary celebrations will involve launching of the new Plaza and Student Hub – a purpose built space for study, socialisation, recreation and student services. The official opening will take place on Friday 18 March at 9.30am – almost 50 years to the day since Flinders University was opened. Following the formal events of the morning, you can check out the amazing new facilities, take a tour of the Hub building and enjoy the food and entertainment on offer.
