Congratulations to all our staff and student prize winners

Staff Awards:

Congratulations to Dr Lucy Bell who was a recipient of the Vice-Chancellor’s Award for Early Career Researchers in 2016. Lucy was one of ten early-career researchers to be acknowledged by the University and Vice-Chancellor Professor Colin Stirling this year. The awards recognise the outstanding contributions of individual staff members to reward and encourage excellence in their research efforts. A fantastic recognition of Lucy’s hard work – well done!

Student Awards:

We would like to congratulate all of our student prize winners this year.

Xin-Hue Tan: Nutricia Australia Prize in Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics for 2016. This prize is awarded to the student in either the Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics or the Master of Nutrition and Dietetics whose overall performance in the topic Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics is judged to be the best.

Liana Formichella: Master of Nutrition and Dietetics Academic Excellence Award for 2016.  This prize is awarded for academic excellence by a graduating student in the Master of Nutrition and Dietetics. Students are judged on the basis of their grade point average on completion of the Course.

Melinda Pasfield: Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics Academic Excellence Award for 2016. This prize is awarded for academic excellence by a graduating student in the Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics. Students are judged on the basis of their grade point average on completion of the Course.

Yin Shi Chan: Master of Nutrition and Dietetics International Student Prize for 2016. This prize is awarded to the international student with the best overall performance in the Master of Nutrition and Dietetics. Students are judged on the basis of their grade point average over the two years of study and their contribution to the course.

Morgan Pankhurst: Uncle Toby’s Prize in Nutrition and Dietetics for 2016. This prize is awarded to the student enrolled in the Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics Course whose overall performance in the Third Year of the course is judged to be the best.

Sotiria Karatsas: Uncle Toby’s Prize in Nutrition and Dietetics for 2016. This prize is awarded to the student enrolled in the Master of Nutrition and Dietetics Course whose overall performance in the First Year of the course is judged to be the best.
