The month of August has been filled with all sorts of different things. I attended my first footy game; I watched the Adelaide Crows beat the Brisbane Lions. It was so exciting, being in the Adelaide Oval; the atmosphere was incredible and contagious. I just returned from a weekend trip to Sydney; I love that city! We arrived just in time to see the sunset in Circular Quay, with the sky illuminating orange behind the magnificent Sydney Harbor Bridge. We hiked through the Blue Mountains for a day; it was a beautiful place to experience! We also went to Bondi Beach and spent the day laying in the grass, enjoying the views, and eating some ice cream. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t warm enough to swim, but the sun was warm! I also took a trip to Cleland Wildlife Park and made friends with some kangaroos and wallabies! I got to feed them and pet them which was an unforgettable experience. The weather seems to be warming up a bit, so soon I’ll be able to spend the day at Glenelg Beach with my friends!
