September!

Another great month has passed and I’m still enjoying my time here at Flinders! The highlight of this month was my mid-semester break on which I went to Cairns for a week. I went diving at the Great Barrier Reef, did some cruises, visited the rainforest, and enjoyed the nightlife and the sun (maybe a little too much); it truly was a tropical paradise. Furthermore, I went to some cool parties and a pub crawl organized by Flinders Living, I visited the Royal Adelaide Show, an awesome festival which I really recommend going to, and I went to the beach a couple of times (since summer is finally breaking through). Besides this, there was, of course, some studying as well (since I am already half-way with my studies here). I’m still very happy with my on-campus accommodation and the facilities on campus here; there’s a good gym, multiple food facilities, an extensive library, medical facilities, etc.: and that while the campus is still under construction due to a renovation. I’ve got one more week of studying ahead, and then I’ll be leaving for Darwin for a week to travel around. So a tip from my side; balance your studies, and make sure you’ve got enough time to explore the country and go on trips!
