Works around campus – 9 March 2022

Slow down on University Drive

If you’re returning to or starting at the Bedford Park campus this year, please remember to slow down and remain patient when travelling along University Drive.

You may have noticed the construction site for our new Health and Medical Research Building – because of this, there are different speed limits along University Drive and Sports Road, and heavy vehicles are also regularly moving through this area.

For everyone’s safety, please take extra care and follow all speed limits and instructions from traffic management staff – particularly when workers and pedestrians are in the area.

Thanks for helping to keep our Flinders community safe.

Crane lifts at South Ridge this Saturday

Please be aware that there will be two crane lifts this Saturday at South Ridge as part of ongoing works in the College of Science and Engineering.

The first will take place at the Earth Science building from 6–9am and the second at the Biology building from 9am–12pm. There won’t be any access to the second-level corridor in Earth Sciences, the third-level corridor in Biology and the northern breezeway leading to Anchor Court alongside Biology during these lifts.

If you’ll be on campus and in these areas at this time, please take additional care and follow any directions or signage in place.

Car park 14

If you’re using car park 14, please be aware that there are repairs happening around a small number of car parks until the end of this week. Until this time please slow down, follow all traffic management and take additional care, particularly when workers are on site.
