There will be a free screening of an ambitious documentary which looks at ways to encourage children’s connections with nature on campus on October 14.
More than just a film, Project Wild Thing is a growing movement of organisations and individuals who care deeply about the need for “nature-connected, free-range, roaming and outdoor-playing kids” in the 21st century.
The screening at 1pm on October 14 in South Lecture Theatre 1, includes a Q & A session with a panel of Flinders staff after the film.
This is a free event, with an optional gold-coin donation as a fundraiser for non-profit local children’s group. Bookings are essential.

Just to clarify the original message that went out, although the organiser is a CEdICT staff member, this movie screening isn’t being presented by The Centre for Educational ICT. 😉
