Work continues on the University’s high voltage electrical upgrade, causing some minor disruption to traffic along University Drive and Ring Road.

The bike and foot path at the edge of the forest on University Drive that run up Ring Road to the pedestrian crossing are temporarily closed in order to complete the works under way.  Some traffic speed restrictions are also in place.  The majority of this work is being undertaken throughout the teaching break and the remainder should be completed within the next few weeks.

Pedestrians and cyclists should plan an alternate path along Flinders Walk, through Flinders Living campus and across the footbridge, to access the pedestrian crossing on Ring Road. Drivers are asked to obey speed limits and drive carefully past the works.
