Coverage of Flinders in the mainstream media this week included Professor John Spoehr, Director of the Australian Industrial Transformation  Institute, who gave multiple interviews to local and interstate radio and ABC 24 TV to analyse the crisis around steel producer Arrium and Whyalla’s future prospects; he was also quoted in articles in the Advertiser and the Australian.

Matthew Flinders Fellow Dr Anand Ganesan, whose research on the benefits to the heart of  workplace competitions using step-counting technology was reported extensively in the US last week, is also receiving  newspaper and radio coverage around Australia.

The launch of the University’s network of high-tech anatomy simulators generated articles in the Advertiser, the NT News and in several regional newspapers.
