No back pedalling for Flinders cyclists

In response to the growing community of cyclists at Flinders, new bike storage facilities will be available at Bedford Park campus from February 2018.

The new facilities will have the capacity to store 66 bikes and will be located adjacent to the Sports Centre and Health Sciences Building.

Access to the new bike storages will be free to staff and students and feature a bike repair station, improved security and a new drinking fountain.

There will be provision to park bikes both in the open or undercover and continued access to showers, lockers and change rooms in the Sports Centre.

Flinders University already provides designated bicycle lanes and paths across campus and there are two existing secure bike storage facilities available.

These are located under the steps at Anchor Court at Bedford Park campus and under the library at Sturt Campus.

For more information on bicycle lanes and submitting a Bike Store Access Application Form, please see Flinders’ cycling webpage.
