PhD student Dhara Amin has won a national competition for her expert presentation skills and technical knowledge on ‘debunking myths about slipped discs’.

The national ‘Present Around The World’ competition is for young professionals and students within engineering who wish to develop and showcase their presentation skills. The competition is run by the Institute of Engineering and Technology.

Dhara will now represent Australia at the Regional Competition in Singapore in August 2018, and have the opportunity to compete at the Global Final in London in November 2018.

Last year, Flinders alumnus Benjamin McCarl placed second at the national ‘Present Around The World’ competition.
