Established or early-career researchers are invited to join an information session to find out how medical students may be able to help with research or coursework-based projects, as part of the Advanced Studies program.
The Advanced Studies research and scholarship stream, integrated within the Doctor of Medicine program, sees students undertaking a research project or coursework from the second semester in Year 2, to the ‘Capstone’ topic in Year 4 when they present their work.
Projects may span many disciplines broadly relating to medicine and can be research or coursework-based.
The benefits include a free resource to assist with a project and for the student, the potential to present in a peer-reviewed setting and publish the research outcomes.
Find out more about the benefits of becoming a project supervisor by attending one of the information sessions or visiting the website.
