QR scanning for COVID-19 safety

QR codes will appear across our South Australian campuses in the coming week, in response to the easing of border restrictions and the possibility of community transmission of COVID-19.

Some 200 QR code signs will be placed around Bedford Park, and codes will also be placed at the entry to Tonsley and Victoria Square.

We understand this is an inconvenience but checking in once per building per day will assist our very busy state contact tracers if COVID-19 is identified at any of our Flinders sites.

Just as you’ve checked in to campus food outlets, please take a moment to check in to buildings you visit – a few seconds now could make a big difference in tracing any potential occurrences and help keep our campuses safe.

Meanwhile, in addition to thorough handwashing and proper mask wearing, vaccination is our best defence against the virus.

Flinders University’s Health Service at the Bedford Park campus is offering Pfizer and AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccinations, including booster shots, for Medicare card holders. To make your booking, call the Health Service on 8201 2118.
