Flinders University has launched a re-energised Pride Network, which will work to encourage a University environment that promotes inclusion, opportunity and safety for the LGBTQIA+ community.

Through working with key stakeholders both within and outside of the University, the Network will ensure that Flinders is equipped to deal with and prevent any prejudicial language, actions or incidents, to ensure that all members of our community feel safe and welcome.

The Pride Network invites any members of staff who have knowledge of, or are receptive to and understand LGBTQIA+ issues to become a part of the Network. Everyone is encouraged to become a member, regardless of their sexuality, gender identity, or whether you identify as a member of the LGBTQIA+ community.

Staff are also invited to nominate to join the Pride Committee, which will represent the Pride Network on the Flinders University Diversity and Inclusion Committee. The Committee will also act as the voice of the Network to University Executive leadership.
