Grab a bite at OneByte cafe!

cafe OneByte, the new cafe at Central Library, is now open.

Semester hoursMonday-Thursday  10.00 am to 7.00 pm ;  Friday 10.00am to 6.30pm; Saturday & Sunday 12.00am to 3.00pm

We are very pleased to offer a cafe service with food and coffee for library patrons who study during evenings and weekends, as well as during the daytime.

OneByte serves coffee, hot drinks, muffins and other snacks – great for a energy boost when you are hitting the books!  All food and drink purchased at OneByte meets the Library’s food and drink guidelines, so you can go elsewhere in the library to eat…or you may prefer to pull up one of the cafe chairs to work on your laptop or one of the computers near the window.  Drop in and grab a bite at OneByte today!

  1. what about Sturt Campus, are we going to get a better cafe, we can’t even get a decent coffee at the DeCafe, the one I got the other days was just foamy water

  2. Thanks for your comment and your feedback.
We are happy to pass this on to FlindersOne who manage the Sturt DeCafe as well as the other food and coffee outlets on campus (including the new Library Cafe). Although the Sturt Library doesn’t have a cafe, you can always bring your DeCafe coffee into the Library to study, as long as it has a cover or lid! We also don’t mind if you consume cold food, snacks and bakery goods in the library – just remember to please place your rubbish in the bins provided.

Have you visited the new OneByte Café yet? We would welcome your comments.

No, the OneByte Cafe currently only accepts cash and doesn’t have EFTPOS facilities available.
