In March, Professor Michelle Miller and Jolene Thomas made the annual trip to Singapore to attend the IDP Education Fair and meet with our placement providers and stakeholders.  It was a very busy but productive trip with Michelle meeting with our Singapore placement sites and stakeholders while Jolene represented the department at the Education Fair and visits to 3 of the major Polytechnics in Singapore with nutrition programs that articulate into our undergraduate program. One of the highlights of the visit was the Flinders School of  Health Sciences Alumni Event, an afternoon tea at the Grand Hyatt,  that was attended by past graduates of Nutrition and Dietetics and Speech Pathology, Michelle Miller, Jolene Thomas and Dr Chris Brebner from Speech Pathology.  It was a great way to catch up with friends and network amongst colleagues whilst enjoying fantastic food. There will be additional academic visits to Singapore in 2016, with the next visit being for Placement Educator training run by Amanda Wray and Louisa Matwiejczyk.
