Positive Action towards Career Engagement (PACE) connects students and job seekers with disability with mentors from leading Australian businesses. It gives you an opportunity to develop your skills and confidence in a workplace setting.

How it works

You will be paired with an experienced professional who you will meet with six to eight times within a four-month period. The meeting last between one and two hours. You can discuss your career goals and aspirations, and get help to develop a plan for your personal and professional development.

Conversations could include:

  • Reviewing your resume
  • Writing cover letters
  • Practising mock interviews
  • Work site visits
  • Networking with other professionals
  • Discussing workplace adjustments
  • Building confidence.
