This is a quick note to let you know that works to build a new bus stop for the Sturt Loop Bus at Carpark 13 will commence on Wednesday 28 October.  This will provide weather protection for staff and students from both Flinders and ASMS to utilise while waiting for the Loop Bus, also incorporating a security call button with in-built CCTV for improved security, solar panels, seating and phone charging facilities.

This work will involve:

• Erection of a new structure adjacent the edge of Carpark 13 where the mural is located
• Trenching from the above location to Optometry building for services to be installed
• Some minor modifications to Carpark 13 while works are being undertaken
• Temporary relocation of the Loop Bus Stop to University Drive

There will be intermittent noise associated with these works and minor restrictions for both cars and pedestrians within the area.  We would ask that you take care in this area while works are being undertaken and follow any directional signage in place once works commence.

Pedestrian access to the temporary bus stop will be redirected to Bus Stop 26A on the western side of University Drive as indicated below, and there will be a loop bus timetable in place at this location.  If there are Loop Bus users who have mobility restrictions, Flinders Security can be contacted to assist with access requirements on 8201 2880, a reminder that the Security contact number is also located on the back of your staff and student cards.
