Semester 1 Census Date is Friday 5 April*

This Friday 5 April is the Census Date* for Semester 1 topics. The Census Date is the last day you can withdraw from a topic without incurring student contribution amounts (Commonwealth supported student), tuition fees (fee-paying student) and student services and amenities fees.

If you are feeling unsure about continuing study or if you are experiencing academic, personal or financial difficulties, a wide range of support available to help you get back on track.

See below for information about the support available, or for details about changing course (domestic students only). If you are simply unsure where to start, you can email your questions or concerns through to student.experience@flinders.edu.au and a staff member will contact you to discuss the support available.

Students enrolled in Non-Semester Topics or Higher Degree by Research: the census date is different.  If you are studying an Undergraduate Nursing or Healthy Ageing degree, all of the topics in these degrees are Non-Semester and the Census date is different. You should check the Census Date for your topics by using the search tool under the 2019 Summer & non-semester topics heading on the Census Dates page.

If you are an international student, you are required to enrol in full-time study (18 units per semester) as part of the student Visa requirements. Withdrawing from topics may affect your Visa. See below for information about specific international student support.
