Here comes the finale

As the saying of Walt Disney goes, “our heritage and ideals, our code and standards – the things we live by and teach our children – are preserved or diminished by how freely we exchange ideas and feelings.” Every country has its proud side of history and heritage and every corner of the world deserves us to explore. The reason for studying abroad is not only to discover more about different tourist spots in the world but to stay connected with people around the globe to share, communicate and exchange ideas and thoughts.

It is great to mark the finale of my university life by studying in Flinders University, a university with high quality of teaching and research. I believe expertise is like wine brewing better as time passes, with its noteworthy standing in arts and humanities, the academic staff and curriculum offered in the school is of great quality. Benefiting from its resources, the school offers a wide range of courses in the faculty which include courses for my major in English Studies. And this benefits me in accomplishing my degree without observable difficulty.

Apart from its high-quality classes, the environment of the school is also a great attraction for me. The school is situated in Adelaide which is often called “a literature city”. The literary environment in the city enables me to indulge in the literary world with connections in different forms of arts which is a comparably rare opportunity in Hong Kong.

With its high-quality teaching and its superb location, it would be a pity if you do not choose Flinders as your host institution!
