Health, Counselling and Disability Services presence in the city

We have counsellors in the city. We also have our first city-based wellbeing program – Mindful Moments.

 

The Practice Accreditation and Improvement Survey (PAIS) from 2023

The PAIS is a well-established patient survey widely used by general practices across Australia to gather valuable feedback from patients, which informs meaningful quality improvement within the organisation.

The results from our most recent survey have come through. Stay tuned for more information about improvements that we are looking to make, based on these results.

 

 

NT counsellor, based in Darwin

Sarah Hogg is our NT Counsellor in Darwin, bringing over 12 years of experience in counselling and social work to support the students, with a focus on providing guidance and support for their well-being and mental health.

Sarah will be available to students three days a week, specifically on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Her primary location will be at CDU, where she will provide counselling services to students seeking guidance and support.

 

SA Pathology updates:

SA Pathology are back onsite now in the Health Service 🏥

Normal business hours are Monday to Thursday 9am to 3pm.

 

Feeling distressed?

Within normal business hours (i.e. 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday) email counselling@flinders.edu.au. This email is monitored by our intake team.

☎️ If it is out of hours and you find yourself distressed at what is happening, remember our Out of Hours Crisis Line is operational.

Flinders Medical Centre, Emergency Dept is open 24hrs.
