Research Project – Food Insecurity, Flinders University Students & COVID-19

Did you take part in this online anonymous survey last Semester?

The aim of the research project was to explore the prevalence and experience of food insecurity among Flinders University students in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and the lockdown measures. We are hoping the research may lead to a better understanding of how vulnerable students can be supported.

A big thank-you to those students who participated in this voluntary, anonymous online survey. We had a great response with approximately 164 people completing the survey. Flinders University is still working with Curtin University to analyse the data and we hope to provide a summary of the results in due course.

If you completed the survey and would like to go into the random prize draw for one of ten $50 supermarket vouchers, please send an email to Dr. Sue Booth – sue.booth@flinders.edu.au with your name, and email address.

Entry into the draw closes on September 1, 2021. Prize winners will be notified by email by September 30th.
