Crane lift at Health Sciences on Wednesday 20 April 2022

Overview: A quick update from Property, Facilities and Development on some upgrades happening at Health Sciences that has access implications. Reading time ~ 2 minutes.

A quick note to let you know that there will be a crane lift at Health Sciences on Wednesday 20 April 2022. This is part of our ongoing works to upgrade spaces in the College of Science and Engineering and College of Medicine and Public Health.

The lift will take place at the Health Sciences building from 5.30am–7am and there won’t be any access to Level 5 Health Sciences laboratories during this time.

If you anticipate that you will have a critical need to access these areas at this time, please contact me (Darren Tran) urgently to discuss.

If you are on campus and in these areas at this time, please take additional care and follow any directions or signage in place.

For staff or students entering the Health Science building between 5.30am and 7am, for safety reasons there will be no building entry across the level 3 bridge and access to bicycle storage room. Pedestrians should walk south to the stairs between the Sports and Student Centre buildings, down the stairs and follow the back of the Sports Centre towards Health Sciences, entering through the door on level one.

Thank you for your patience as we undertake these works to improve our campus for the Flinders community.

If you look up and see a giant red rectangle above you, you are in the exclusion zone
