I’ll be on the Orientation Platform from 11-1 each day this week answering health and wellbeing questions

Overview: New students can find all they need to know about studying at Flinders via the new Orientation Platform. That includes learning about health and wellbeing services. Find out when I (or my colleagues) will be on the platform taking your questions. Reading time ~ 2 minutes.

If you are joining the Flinders community as part of the mid-year orientation – welcome!

My guess is you are kinda overwhelmed at everything being thrown your way. Or then again, maybe you are taking it all in your stride πŸšΆβ€β™€οΈ

You are probably aware that as part of the Orientation process this year, there is an online platform in which you can attend information sessions and visit virtual stalls for all the services and clubs. Isn’t it pretty!

If you click the “Student Services & Clubs Hub” and then scroll, you will find the Health, Counselling and Disability Services stall. It looks a bit like this.

From 11am-1pm each day this week I will be at the Health, Counselling and Disability Virtual stall, fielding any questions you have about our service or health and wellbeing programs at Flinders. Then next week (25th to 29th July), myself and a few colleagues will be doing the same.

I also recommend finding the Oasis Stall and having a chat to them. Oasis is a community centre on the Bedford Park Campus that runs a range of wellbeing programs.

All questions are welcome. There is a lot going on at a university like Flinders and we’ll do our best to help you navigate it effectively.
