I’m not particularly good at keeping track of and promoting on-campus social events but if details of events make their way to me, I am only too happy to include them in the newsletter. Next Thursday, 26th October, the Vietnamese Student Association at Flinders (VAF) is hosting VietFair 2023, a celebration of Vietnamese Culture, at the Plaza at Bedford Park. 10am to 3pm. You are invited to VietFair 2023, a celebration of Vietnamese Culture Day, on behalf of the Vietnamese Student Association at Flinders (VSF).
The event will be held under the theme of “Floating Market”, a unique cultural experience in the Mekong Delta region of Vietnam. The VSF team will recreate the floating market, an important site for exchanging goods among people and cultural activities that have shaped the characters of the Mekong people over hundreds of years.
Join them at Vietfair 2023, where they will celebrate the wonderful Vietnamese culture.
The event will feature a diverse range of activities, including vibrant food stalls, captivating Áo Dài Dress performances, traditional games, and much more.
You will have an immersive experience that will stimulate your senses and offer a glimpse into the rich cultural heritage of Vietnam. Please mark your calendars and attend this event to explore the sights, sounds, and flavours of Vietnamese culture.
