For the last 2 years, I have done the City to Bay fun run. Admittedly I’ve walked it (I’m more of a Frodo than a de Castella) but I do the full distance (hold your applause).
I’ve seen plenty of Flinders people in the event, but Flinders hasn’t had a formal presence at the fun run……….until this year!
Thanks to the fine folks at Flinders Sports and Fitness, there will be a Team Flinders at the 2024 City to Bay. 🏃♀️🏃♂️🏃♀️🏃♂️🏃♀️🏃♂️🏃♀️
For those participating or thinking of participating, joining Team Flinders is a good deal.

There are still places available in Team Flinders, so get in early. They are hoping to have all registrations by the 20th July, so that people can start the 8-week training program (see details below picture).

If you register via one of these links, there will be no need to register direct with the City-Bay website.

Registered participants will receive discount codes so that their Family and Friends can get a 10% discount. Additional singlets will be available for $30.
If you have already registered for the City to Bay but would like to join the Flinders team, Amy Moyce from Flinders Sports and Fitness is looking into a way to get you swapped into the team, so hit her up for the process.
If you visit the QR code in the picture below, to bring up the various registration links (as above) you will need to change the dates to September. Then you can select your race to receive the $20 discount and order the singlet size etc. Regardless of how and what you sign up for, no one needs to register direct with the City-Bay website. Flinders fitness will do that on their behalf as a bulk entry later.

Monday 26th August – Foot health for runners (workshop run by Motum Movement Physio)
Thur 12th September – Pre Race nutrition ( Seminar Georgia Bevan dietitian /AFLW premiership /Alumni)
