7 days of psychology

7daysofpsychology

Have you ever woken up in the middle of the night, in a cold sweat, wondering “what the hell do psychologists do?”

According to research I just totally made up in my head, about 73.81% of people report such a thing happening to them.

Until very recently, the only way they could answer this burning question, was to Google it, and hope for the best.

Now there is a better option.

In a Smith’s Chips fuelled fever dream, I conceptualised a website that would send someone regular emails about the different fields of psychology.

With Psychology Week coming up (12th to 18th November – http://compassforlife.org.au/), I thought what better way to celebrate than to bring that website to reality.

With the help of the SA Branch of the Australian Psychological Society, and the lovely people at cre8d design, we’ve developed

7 Days of Psychology – http://www.7daysofpsychology.com/

7days
Yep – we totally made it

Submit your email and get 7 emails sent, describing 7 different areas of psychology (clinical, neuro, forensic, health, educational and developmental, organisational, sport)

I know what you are thinking – “Gareth, you pretty much read my mind on what would make my life complete”.

Jokes aside – if you like the looks of this initiative, please a) sign-up and b) share with friends, colleagues and family.

If you’d like to learn more about the 7 Days of Psychology initiative – please contact me via the details below.
