New Disability/Career Consultant

Careers Advisor

Morning everyone!

What a nice day for person-oriented blog post.

Reviewing my emails this morning, I found one from the Disability Advisors. They were letting me know about a new Disability/Career Consultant.

Sascha Lemon-Spence is joining the University 1 day/week as a USEP Consultant. USEP is a pilot program, aiming to connect more students with a disability with employment after graduation.

Sascha will be based with Careers on Tuesdays.

Sascha brings expertise in employment for people who have a disability, mental health condition, Autism Spectrum Disorder and medical conditions.

Sascha can provide advice and support with job applications/resumes and case-management for students who may need more support when job-seeking.

When Sascha is on leave, Ada Caruana will be filling in and using the same email address.

How to access this service

Students can self-refer by emailing usep@cbsinc.org.au. Please note: students will be asked to fill out an intake form when they meet with Sascha as she is employed by CBS Inc. It is a free service for students and they don’t need to provide documentation of their disability.

Students can also contact Sascha on her mobile: 0448 000 897

If students would like to contact a Disability Advisor first to ask about the program, they can email disability@flinders.edu.au
