Two new Oasis Programs – Volunteering and Forest Walks

Two new wellbeing-focused programs have just been added to the Oasis suite of programs.

The first is the new Volunteering Program 🙋‍♀️🙋‍♂️

Oasis now runs a range of wellbeing programs and events and needs (more than ever) help from students to make those programs as good as they could be. For example, the Flinders Market is a thriving and busy market and can always use additional volunteers. But this isn’t all. We have a range of programs planned for 2021 and you can play a part in helping those programs come to be – https://oasis.flinders.edu.au/oasis-volunteer-program/

The second is Forest Walks 🌴🌲🌳

On the Bedford Park campus we have access to scrub and pine forest land that makes for excellent walks. Join Chaplain Dave for Forest walks on Wednesdays (2pm) and Fridays (10am) to explore this wilderness. Remember to wear appropriate closed footwear, appropriate clothing and bring a water bottle – https://oasis.flinders.edu.au/forest-walks/

These programs join a suite of wellbeing programs and events planned for 2021. If you are looking to rejuvenate and rebuild after a challenging 2020, an Oasis program might be just what the doctor ordered.
