A heads-up from the Disability Services team, for those who may need to update their Access plan for 2025. The end-of-year break period might be a great time to do it.
Whether you are renewing an expiring Access Plan, need to adjust an existing one, or are creating a new Access Plan for next year, the Disability Services team is here to help!
We are open over the end-of-year break (except for December 23 – January 6) – it is a perfect time to connect with us and get your Access Plan ready for 2025.
An Access Plan outlines any adjustments you might need for your studies. It is developed with you through meeting with a Disability Advisor, together you will discuss the impacts you may experience in your studies. The plan is based on supporting documentation (a Verification Statement) that you provide, and it is designed to help you work with Topic Coordinators and staff to negotiate reasonable adjustments.
