Liz from Careers sent this through. Of interest to students with disability. Update: deadline has been extended to the 13th October.
Good afternoon colleagues,
The Australian Network on Disability (AND) has announced that its Stepping Into internship applications are now open!
Of particular interest this year is the fact that three of the opportunities are right here in Adelaide. Please click through the links below to view these listings on CareerHub:
There are many more opportunities throughout Australia listed on the AND website for students who are open to travelling.
AND has also provided us with the information below and has encouraged sharing with students with all types of disability. We hope you will share it broadly, particularly the details regarding the online information sessions which will help interested students learn more about the program and provide tips on applications, interviewing and networking.
Are you a university student with disability looking for paid work experience that counts?
The Australian Network on Disability (AND) is offering students with disability the opportunity to intern with leading and forward-thinking organisations across a range of disciplines as part of Stepping Into.
What is Stepping Into?
Stepping Into is a paid internship program designed for university students with disability who want to gain paid, hands-on work experience in their chosen field of study. Students benefit by gaining valuable experience in their desired field of work, and by having the opportunity to develop professional networking and social skills.
