Mindful Yoga kicks off again this week

Just a quick note to let you know that Mindful Yoga, run by counsellor Maureen kicks off again this week.

It runs weekly on Tuesdays from 12-1pm at OASIS (J7 on the campus map).

If you’d like to learn a bit more about it, read our first post here and some update posts here and here.

If you are tentative about attending, thinking that it might be too physically demanding, then Maureen wants to remind you that Mindful Yoga is a slow gentle movement with an emphasis on practicing mindfulness skills both still and while moving, and no prior yoga experience is required.

I’d also like to add that in the lead-up to exams at the end of term, it is really valuable to have some kind of relaxation/focusing tool in your psychological toolkit. Mindful Yoga can teach you strategies for calming and focusing your mind.

No need to book or RSVP – just drop-in.
