Statewide Mental Health Lived Experience Register

SA Health have created a Statewide Mental Health Lived Experience Register.

If you live with mental illness or care for someone with mental illness, you are eligible to join the register.

You’ll get regular newsletters from SA Health updating you on what is happening in the mental health sector (a good way to learn about the services available).

But being on the register also means you’ll get opportunities via surveys and forums to provide feedback on your experiences, to help inform improvements to mental health services.

You can also opt to be a ‘lived experience representative’ which means you might get opportunities to speak on behalf of other people living with mental illness or other carers.

To learn more about the Register and submit an application for, see the attached document.
