Introducing Pip Sellar – the new Mental Health First Aid course facilitator!

Mental Health First Aid is an incredibly popular course with students. Last year’s courses were reliably filled quickly. This year we have a new course facilitator. Meet Pip!

Hello!  My name is Pip (Sellar) and I’m the new Mental Health First Aid course facilitator here at Flinders.

I’ve worked in the clinical mental health field for 20+ years with a wide variety of people.  I am passionate about the role education and improved mental health literacy plays in reducing the stigma associated with mental health and in improving prevention, early intervention and health outcomes for individuals and communities.

I really love facilitating this course and try to make it fun and engaging as well as it being informative and practical.

I would encourage you to sign up to a course as they are rolled out this year and look forward to meeting many of you when you come along.

Information about training dates can be found at this post.

You can contact me via email if you have any MHFA questions – pip.sellar@flinders.edu.au
