The Chinese Students Association, the Vietnamese Students Association, and International Student Services are thrilled to extend a warm invitation to you for the upcoming Lunar New Year celebration. Let’s come together to usher in the Year of the Dragon with joy, festivity, and cultural richness!

Event Details:

Date and Time: February 9, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM

Venue: Student Hub, Level 0, Bedford Park campus (Campus map Ref. no. H9)

We are excited to share that we’ve already received an overwhelming response with 200 student registrations. This promises to be a vibrant and lively event, and we hope to see you there!

What to Expect:

  • Cultural Performances: Immerse yourself in dazzling traditional performances that showcase the vibrancy of the Lunar New Year traditions.
  • Interactive Activities: Engage in various activities at the Tet corner organized by both the Chinese and Vietnamese Student Associations. Try your hand at Calligraphy, witness Kungfu demonstrations, and enjoy performances featuring traditional instruments.
  • Culinary Delights: Indulge your taste buds with a delightful array of Chinese tea, Vietnamese coffee, dumplings, Tangyuan, and traditional Vietnamese delicacies. It’s a culinary journey you won’t want to miss!
  • Games and Entertainment: Join in the fun with activities such as Chopsticks and Pitch pot games, adding an extra layer of excitement to the celebration.
