
I’d like to thank Wednesday for being a great day, but I think we are going to go with Tuesdays.
I’ve not met anyone in recent times who has said to me they want more emails.
So, with the email subscription option for the BetterU website (previously the Student Health and Wellbeing Blog), we’ve made sure to:
a) make it opt-in – you only get the emails if you specifically subscribe AND
b) limit it to 1 email per week max.
I recently learned however that our email goes out about the same time as Ping!
That is a lot for even the most die-hard email fan to handle!
Hence, I am moving the BetterU email newsletter to Tuesdays at 10am. It has been, for the last few years, going out on Wednesday afternoon.
My logic is this:
- it is early enough in the week to be informed of cool stuff that might be happening
- it isn’t so early in the week that you’ve barely emerged from the weekend
- it is in the morning, but not sunrise early
- Tuesday is a nice day
