Zine and Shine
Step into a space where creativity meets peer connection. Join us for “Zine & Shine”, a vibrant, hands-on event where neurodivergent students come together to express themselves through art. If you’re into drawing, painting, writing, collaging, or sculpting, this is your space to shine! We will provide materials, but feel free to bring your own as well. All contributions will be featured on a zine, which we will publish to other Flinders uni students. Take this chance to tell your story and inspire others.
Plant & Chill
Join us for a relaxing gardening session designed especially for neurodivergent students. We’ll provide everything you need: seedlings, potting materials, and adorable decorations for your plant pot. All you need to bring is your green thumb and curiosity! You’ll learn how to care for your plant and take it home to nurture. It’s a great way to connect with nature, unwind, and grow something beautiful (literally!)
Clay Play
Unleash your creativity in a calming, sensory clay workshop designed for neurodivergent students. Whether you want to create something meaningful or just enjoy the soothing texture of clay, this is your space to explore freely. We’ll provide all the materials, but you are welcome to bring your own. There are no rules, no pressure! Just a chance to create, connect, and express yourself in a supportive environment
Chilling with Farm Animals
Ever wanted to cuddle a lamb, hang out with a fluffy chicken, or just vibe with some friendly farm animals? Now’s your chance! We want to bring the farm to Flinders for a heartwarming, sensory-friendly experience. It’s the perfect way to de-stress, recharge, and experience the joy of animal companionship right on campus. Come relax, connect with gentle animals, and learn how they can support emotional wellbeing and regulation. You don’t want to miss this one!
Talent Unleashed
Get ready for a day of chill vibes, creativity, and pure self-expression! Students (particularly neurodivergent students) are invited to come together and showcase their unique talents in a welcoming, judgment-free space. Whether it’s music, dance, drag, magic, or karaoke with a friend, we want to see it! This is your chance to connect and celebrate neurodivergent brilliance. Snacks and drinks will be provided. Make new friends, have fun, and let your talent shine!
